LONG LASTING
Hot-dip galvanising requires no service and is maintenance-free. Protection period can be more than 100 years, which other corrosion protection systems can not achieve. It is durable and resistant to impacts and abrasion.
ECONOMICAL
As the lifetime cost of hot-dip galvanising is significantly lower than the conventional corrosion protection systems, it is accepted as one of the least expensive long-term protection systems
EFFECTIVE
Hot-dip galvanising; the zinc covering always offer a consistent high quality at corners, edges, in angles and cavities. Conventional corrosion protection systems mainly suffer problems as their layer is thinner.
PROTECT SMALL PARTS
Centrifugal galvanising provides small parts with excellent corrosion protection without sacrificing precision and fitting accuracy. This method is ideal for components where all dimensions count and are important.
ENVIRO FRIENDLY
Centrifugal galvanizing is an environmentally friendly process as it is efficient in its use of zinc and produces little waste. By spinning only the required amount of zinc is used, which conserves resources.
ELEGANT LOOK
Metal zinc coverings underline the character and the properties of steel. Metal coverings with zinc form a unit with their substrate which looks highly impressive while the metallic appearance of steel remains.
Thick Layer Hot-Dip Galvanising
Due to its exceptional durability, hot-dip galvanising is the optimal method for protecting steel against corrosion. The process is also characterised by being maintenance-free and environmentally friendly, making it an unrivalled solution for corrosion protection.
MECHANICAL PROTECTION
Our iron-zinc alloy coating surpasses conventional structural steels in terms of hardness, making it more resistant to mechanical influences such as impacts, blows and abrasion. This is particularly valuable during transport, assembly or everyday use.
EDGE PROTECTION
The zinc coating is particularly thick at the edges, which is favoured by the chemical bond between steel and zinc. This ensures optimum protection even in areas and cavities prone to corrosion.
Thin Layer Centrifuge Galvanising
Centrifuge galvanising (also called spin galvanising) is actually a specialized type of hot dip galvanising. While standard hot dip galvanising coats large structural steel pieces by hanging them in a molten zinc bath, centrifuge galvanising places small parts like nuts, bolts, screws, clips, spinders, washers, fasteners, pins, handles, hinges, brackets, chains, fixings and threaded rods into a special basket that spins rapidly right after removal from the zinc. This centrifugal force flings away extra zinc so pieces do not stick together and coatings stay uniform.
Centrifugal galvanising is particularly recommended as reliable corrosion protection for small parts such as bulk goods, as well as for products with special surface requirements. This method ensures that even the smallest components are effectively protected against corrosion without losing functionality or fitting accuracy.
In the high-temperature spin galvanising process, we subject your steel products to careful, multi-stage pre-treatment. The aim is to achieve a uniform surface finish and a perfect fit. During the centrifugal galvanising process, excess zinc is automatically removed, ensuring a clean and precise coating.
SURFACE QUALITY
Standard hot dip produces a thicker layer while spinning removes excess zinc to create a thinner, more uniform finish. Spinning stops small components from sticking or clumping together. Standard dipping clogs small threads with pooled zinc, whereas centrifuging keeps nuts and bolts usable.
SAVE MONEY
You can expect to see a greater return on investment with spin galvanizing. Spin galvanizing makes the metal more durable, reducing the frequency of maintenance needed, and reducing the associated labour costs such as transportation. It offers enhanced adhesion, consistency, and reduced material waste compared to other steel protection methods.
